ELETROINCS AND COMMUNICATION ENGINEERING department was started in the year 1996.Till 2013 15-batches have been passed out from one department. We follows the curriculum and syllabus Prescribed by DOTE(DIRECTORATE OF TECHNICAL EDUCATION -TAMILNADU )Most of our students have placed in various MNC’s like-Computer Science Corporation, HCL,NOKIA SEIMENS  network etc and many of our students are doing their higher studies. We have conducted a state level symposium in the name of “Tech blast-2012”. In our department we have well equipped laboratory and spacious class rooms with RCC. We have adequate and well experienced staff members with knowledge in diverse technologies.

                             We are encouraging the students to do their projects with innovative ideas and on their own and also guidance from the project guides. We motivate our students not only in academics but also in social  activities through our NSS . Through our NSS Volunteers we organized blood donation camp , awareness program for dengue  and free eye checkup camp through vasan eye care hospital .

                             First and foremost  the discipline of the students is emphasized and we achieve all our activities through team work  . we the good example for the slogan

Still we have to go a long way to achieve our goal . We are planning to start a quality circle team in our department  in order to retain “Value based education for all” .

PARENT –TEACHER ASSOCIATION:

          We are having department counselors to have a close interaction with  students along with their parents to achieve following goals from this academic year (FROM JUNE 2013-2014 APRIL ) .

1)    TO bring better understanding of the problems of the pupils , parents, teachers and help to find solution .

2)    To be in close touch with the pupil’s progress, discipline, health & physical education obedience to teachers , regularity in doing assignments etc.

3)    To arrange meetings, seminars and cultural programs for improving the relationship between parents, pupils and teachers.

 

 

DEPARTMENT OF ELECTRONICS AND COMMUNICATION ENGINEERING ASSOCIATION:

In the forth coming year we are planning to start an association for the benefit of our student community. The following are its role and responsibility

1)Apart from their academic we can improve our students knowledge by conducting FDP Program , equip them by conducting practical training programs (Embedded system Training Program etc ..)

2) We encourage our students to attend paper presentation held at off campus so as to capitates with outside world.

          Our department aim is to provide full-liberal and comprehensive education so as to develop in the student a sound character and fine personality. The objective is to produce young men and women with keen sense of discipline, responsibility, initiative, dedication, integrity and loyalty. In fact, it is an all – round drawing out of the best in the student from his/her body, mind and soul.
