AMS Polytechnic College successfully conducted an Awareness Program on Anti-Drug and Road Safety on 31st January 2025 at the college campus. The event aimed to educate students on the dangers of drug abuse and the importance of road safety.
The session was led by Tr. Ramasamy (Sub-Inspector) and Tr. Chandramohan (Sub-Inspector) from the Avadi Police Commissionerate, T9 Pattabiram Traffic Police. They provided valuable insights on road safety measures, traffic regulations, and the consequences of drug addiction. Students actively participated and took a pledge to stay away from drugs and follow road safety rules.
The program was graced by the presence of AMS Group CEO, Mr. Mohamed Salegh, AMS Polytechnic College Principal, Prof. Kadher Ahamed, and AMS College of Engineering Advisor, Prof. Md. Abdul Khader. They addressed the students, emphasizing the significance of responsible behavior and adherence to safety norms.
The event was organized by AMSPC-NSS Unit Officer, Mr. Rajagopal, in collaboration with Physical Director, Mrs. Hemalatha. The participation of all students and faculty members made the event highly impactful. The program concluded with a vote of thanks delivered by Mr. Rangarajan, expressing gratitude to the dignitaries, speakers, and organizing team for their contributions.
